Something isn’t adding up
In 1911 Lavinia says she has 5 children 5 living

Lucy is missing
In 1901 there is 5 children but none are Archibald

This is James birth in 1891

There is a birth of a Archibald Rosborough in 1892 but his parents are William and Margaret Houston
I think this is them in 1901 but while there is a Jane there is no Archibald

This is Archibald’s birth record:
Archibald Rosborough born 5 April 1892 Limavady, Londonderry
Son of William Rosborough (labourer) and Margaret Houston
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1892/02351/1878846.pdf
Archibald was not born in Limavady but in the townland of Letterlougher (Limavady is the registration district & Feeny is the sub-district).
For older civil registrations on Irish Genealogy they will be listed under Newtownlimavady as Limavdy was formerly called.
Rowborrow and Rossborrow are other variations of the surname.
Thank you so much for your information .. I am only new at this so appreciate all your help .. 😊 Mardee

Well, it looks to have been a very big family with children born across about 24 years.
You would think Archibald might have been in contact with some of them, at least those closest in age.

If you look at the 1876 marriage certificate for William Rosborough and Margaret Houston you will see their parents’ names. So Archibald’s grandparents – William Rosborough (Farmer) and Robert Houston (shoemaker).
