Catholic Parish to which Raffery Belongs
« on: Saturday 29 April 23 12:05 BST (UK) »
Hi All, I hope to get the name of the parish which includes Raffery in County Down. When attempting to search the parish records on NLI, I entered the civil parish of Killinchy but that wasn't it.
I'm looking for info on William Lowrey (born c. 1800) from Raffery.
Cheers!
Stephen

When attempting to search the parish records on NLI...

Likely to be-
Kilmore
Diocese of Down and Connor | County of Down
Variant names: Crossgar

But the NLI does not have any registers available for this parish.

RC parish of Kilmore has records from 1837 onwards. NLI and PRONI don't have copies but they are on rootsireland, so far as I am aware.

Thank you both for the info. I'll get a 1-day subscription to rootsireland and check it out.
