John and Sarah Rosser
« on: Sunday 30 April 23 10:10 BST (UK) »
Hello.

I'm looking for information on John and Sarah Rosser.

They had 3 children I'm aware of:
Ann b abt 1821
Sarah bap 5 Nov 1826 St Mary Redcliffe (surname noted as Rossar)
Benjamin bap 11 Jan 1829 St Mary Redcliffe (surname noted as Rossar)

The two baptisms note John as a shipwright in Bedmister.

Sarah is a charwoman in the 1841 Census (born abt 1796) at 14 Seyl Place Bedminster, living with Ann and Benjamin. I can't find her after that.
I have not located John in the 1841 Census.

Yes, thank you.

I have a fair bit of info on Benjamin and virtually nothing on his parents and siblings.

Benjamin married in 1854. His marriage certificate just mentions his father is John who is a shipwright

Yes, I think this is the daughter Sarah (9mths old on the Burial c era).

I think I will need to order the 1841 death certificate to see if it is Sarah Snr (it is late 1841, so after the Census she appeared in)
