The obituary suggests "licensee", his father Seth Sr was an inn keeper

Yes they are terms for the same thing. Synonyms.

I can't locate a death for Seth Jr on FreeBMD, should I try GRO instead, is there a way you can search it using a wider search period than the 2 years other side of the inputted year?  Thanks for your patience.

I was blindly searching for Katherine Dunn, despite keeping one eye open for a Catherine.  These titbits are really interesting, and I'm so grateful.

Catherine is in the 1911 census

So much to look at, thank you.  I found the burial cards online for the Exwick Road Cemetery, with Catherine and Seth Sr, quite a few other Dunns, but no Seth Jr or Frank.  The card seems to confirm Catherine's maiden name of Trezise.

Thanks for the birth data, shows the multiple interpretations of Trezise/Tresize/Tresise and so on.  Much appreciated.
