Wow, that is quite indecipherable  ;D
But I can certainly say it doesn’t look like Trophy, Brophy or anything similar for that matter. It isn’t Farrell either.

And yes I agree that the word after spinster seems to be “European”

Very difficult.
From the various snips posted, I think, the surname begins with "CITH"  and ends with "EY"

Using wildcards, etc, I came up with CITHERY . An unusual name, but there is a marriage for a Johannah CITHERY in Madras in 1866

But the lead letter does not look like the C of Catherine  ???
Well, it sort of does, but there is an extra loop

Yes, because I think there is an initial (L?) between Catherine and the start of Cithery.

Oh yes, so something like Catherine Louise Cithery?

Just throwing it out there, the witnesses’ name looks quite similar to the bride’s surname. From what I see the witnesses’ surname looks like “Hickey” or something similar. Do you guys also see it or am I just wishful thinking?  :)

I pondered that yesterday. But the Bride has two verticals (I think they have a special name)  in the name, where as Hickey only has the K.
