Sophia TOMLINS 1800-?

Sophia was born 16 Mar 1800 and baptised 13 Apr at St Olave, Bermondsey, daughter of Thomas and Ann TOMLINS, sometimes spelt TOMLIENS or TOMLINES.

On 3 Jul 1825 at St Mary Newington she married George PUPLETT. They only had one child George born 1828 died 1829 that I can find. George snr dies before 1839.

On 16 Jul 1839 at St Mary Whitechapel she marries Robert HUTCHINS as a widow.

In 1841 they are in St Mary Whitechapel with two children, Jane aged 2 and John aged 6wks.

They all seem to disappear after that, no sign of them in London anyway. Can anyone else see them.

Thanks amondg, that Robert death could be him. Definitely looks like son John as well.

Thanks Jo, believe that Sophia is wife of Emanuel. Did see the burial record and she was from Fenchurch St in the City which tallies with a probate for her.

Did find a Sophia HUTCHINGS (not HUTCHINS) in 1861 with Job DAMYON and his wife Jessie. Believe this is the right Sophia as Job DAMYON married a Jessey HUTCHINGS in 1857. Her father was Robert, a tailor, which tallies with 1841. From that found baptism for Jessy HUTCHINGS in 1842, d/o Robert and Sophia. Robert a tailor and Jessy born 1839.

Had the name Jane in 1841 but was actually Jessie/Jessy/Jessey.

I wonder about this birth in 1834….?
Thomas Puplett, baptised 9 Apr 1834, Christchurch St Saviour, s/o Sophia Puplett & James Hurcombe, Carman, Bear Lane… after 1st husband George Puplett dies and before 2nd marriage to Robert Hutchins…..? A dearth of other Sophia Pupletts as possible mother

There is this 1851 census.
Robert is a tailor, and wife Sophia born Surrey - they are lodgers.
Only thing wrong, is their ages. An error?
