War Graves Week at Preston Cemetery, North Shields

As part of War Graves Week, there will be two events on at Preston Cemetery, North Shields on 21 May 10.30  and 27 May at 1330.

I've just seen this, thanks for the plug RTL.

I'm leading the tours, last week's was almost full, tomorrow's is fully booked.

If anyone is interested and has missed out there will be more tours in Preston cemetery soon, hopefully one every month between now and November.

The tours are free but spaces have to be booked via the website. At the minute there's just the war grave week ones listed but the others will appear soon.

I wish you well with the tour today, Michael.  I echo Jen and agree with you also that it is very important to keep these stories alive.
It is very commendable that you have taken on the role of leading this event.
