Trying to find a possible connection Regan/ Decoursey surname
« on: Sunday 07 May 23 11:05 BST (UK) »
You lovely people have helped me in the past with regards to the Decoursey name.
I am trying to find if this person is connected to my family tree, Ellen Regan  born clifden Galway 1864 her parents are Thomas Regan and Bridget Coursey.
In my family tree i have a Margaret Regan born 1858 who married a Patrick coyne and on her marriage certificate she states her father as being a Michael Regan her mother is belived to be Bridget Decoursey.

The above record of Ellen Regan is the closest ive been able to get with regards to linking the surname Regan and the Decoursey/coursey together. Where do i go from here?
Gillard, Bowden,Burden,Lock,Rowe,Sartn,Chitty.

There are a few examples of other Regan/Coursey marriages/children so perhaps fairly common names in the area.
