There’s a Hugh McLennan birth in Blantyre in 1904 in the Scotlandspeople indexes. GROS ref: 624/681. Mother’s maiden name was Williamson.  Could that be your Hugh? As CaroleW has said we need a bit more information.

hi i just looked at this birth cert and yes the date of birth that i got off of the death cert matches the birth cert father Hugh McLennon coal miner susan williamson parents marriage july 1896 Ireland

There's a couple called James McLernon and Sarah O'Neill who had a run of children from 1865 to 1883 in County Tyrone, an address that crops up in birth records is what I believe to be the townland of Annaghnaboe, which borders the Derrytresk mentioned in that 1896 Hugh McLernon - Susanna Williamson marriage record, their children included a son Hugh in 1873:

Just a possibility to consider.

There's a couple called Arthur Williamson and Bridget Toal who had a run of children from the 1850s to 1870s in County Tyrone, an address that crops up in birth records is the townland of Lisboy, which is in the vicinity of Carland and Drumconor mentioned in that 1896 Hugh McLernon - Susanna Williamson marriage record, their children included a daughter Susanna born in 1872:

Again, just a possibility to consider.

In the marriage registration posted at reply #4, when Hugh McLernon married Susanna Williamson of 'Drumconnor Carland', daughter of Arthur Williamson (dead), in Donaghmore RC Church in 1896, the two witnesses were Hugh and Mary McMahon.

Just over 4 years earlier in the same church, Hugh McMahon married Mary Williamson of 'Drumconnor Carland', daughter of Arthur Wiliamson (alive):
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1892/10632/5873507.pdf

A Mary Williamson was born at Lisboy to Arthur Williamson and Bridget Toal in July 1867:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1867/03478/2277955.pdf

Note the following folk in the 1901 Ireland Census, I suspect the mother-in-law's age may be understated:
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Tyrone/Crossdernot/Drumconor/1735773/

Searching for a death registration for Arthur Williamson between those 1892 and 1896 marriages mentioned above, brings back the following one, it took place at 'Drumconnor' at a reported age of 65 in 1894, he was a married man, the informant who registered the death was his son Arthur:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1894/05960/4694217.pdf

An Arthur Williamson was born at Lisnagowan to Arthur Williamson and Bridget Toal in May 1869:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1869/03400/2246948.pdf

Lisnagowan borders Lisboy:

Just a maybe for the death of Hugh McLernon's mother at Derrytresk in May 1900:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1900/05764/4628775.pdf

Just as an aside, in the Dungannon News of 30 July 1896, under a report about the Dungannon Petty Sessions on 27 July, there is a story about Hugh McLernon being arrested for larceny from his employer, alleged to have happened on 1 July. It mentions how Hugh was seen in a draper's shop on 4 July spending money (on a coat and a vest and a hat), how he borrowed a pound from a witness on the morning of 7 July because he said he was going to get married and was short of money. There was also an issue about a five pound note known to be in his possession which was subsequently found to be spent on wedding cars and so forth. At midnight on 7 July - his wedding night - Hugh was arrested by a police sergeant. The report also includes mention of his father James McLernon of Derrytresk giving evidence to support Hugh.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, Hugh was discharged. I can't imagine that he was too well pleased being arrested on his wedding night.
