Hello rosie99 yes I have looked on there but I have found their site a waste of time,I have 9 members of my family buried in our local cemetery and no of them come up on their site,I have tried e-mailing local Kent cemeteries but there are just so many

The Folkestone, Hythe, Sandgate and Cheriton Herald, 9 March 1995, under the headline "Tree searcher" included a letter  from a member of the Dinsdale family, quoting a Sheffield address, who was researching the family. It asked for anyone with links to Edwin to contact them.

Hello that is very interesting,I have researched a lot of my great grandads family tree, most of his family were from Cumberland, but some of his family did indeed live in Sheffield,Adam Edwin lived in Kent because he met my great grandmother Edith while he was serving in the army,he married there and unfortunately died there, way to young

His home address wasn't far from Cheriton Road Cemetery. I believe they have the registers on line at Ancestry. Might be worth a check?

Do all your 9 "rellies" in you local cemetery have headstones? A lot of burials do not have a headstone and "voluntary" surveys of these sites only capture what's above ground. The registers and burial location are not part of the survey.

Given the background of Edwin's death, do you consider a headstone is likely?

Having read newspaper reports about his death I doubt that the family could afford a headstone at that time
