Diary summary week ending 14th May
« on: Monday 08 May 23 08:02 BST (UK) »
Morning all
Beautiful morning  her, hope you all can enjoy  the bank holiday today

Well it is all over now with the celebrations, back to near normal.

Off to the tower to do my stint on teas, no doubt, knowing my luck I will be clearing tables and washing  up, don't mind that as i can  be sociable to people without  someone behind tooting and butting as I call it  because they are waiting for their refreshments.

Take care

Morning all
It’s raining here again. I’ve just watched the concert on IPlayer and it’s a signed version. Some of the signers were brilliant in their enthusiasm. The advantage of IPlayer is you can fast forward the acts you aren’t so keen on ! My favourite bit was the Royal Collaboration with RSC, Royal Ballet, Royal Opera House, Royal College of Music and Royal College of Art .

Just  home from the  tower trips, exhausted,  very busy, the tea pot was forever being  filled up,  less coffees requested,  I must have a word about larger tea pot in future
Took just short of  £600, fantastic ,
Back to normal tomorrow
Hope everyone else has had a good weekend

Well done, LM  :)  I have to admit that I only watched some of the procession to the Abbey, then forgot to watch the return, which would have been better as more visual/audible contact with the military bands and marching  ;D  No sign of any parties in the local area, though probably some in the town.  But then I'm a MOF  :o

I saw a report in an online newspaper that described I think it was Prince Wiliam as a delf or a dilf. No idea what that meant. These abbreviations seem to be only for those in the know.
There's also these titles of Gen Z or Milleniums. I'm not exactly sure of the accurate date definitions for both of these ie when they start and end. Do we who are on here have labels like this from our assorted generations?
