UK Census Images cannot be viewed on Family Search, only indexes/transcriptions are available ...

If you want to view the actual image, you'll need to go to a subscription site (Ancestry, FindMyPast, MyHeritage ...)

Ah that makes sense. Yes it's a all bit baffling. I'm sure I used to be able to access the census' more easily. I can't seem to find very much at all about this Consolo family, they seem to disappear. Although I found the son, Ernesto, was a famous pianist in his time, he had one son Gerardo who died in WWI. There was also a Henry Consolo born in 1858 who had a son Henry Consolo born in Rome in 1883 but I can't find any connection with Pellegrini Consolo's family.

Maybe it is a good idea to give an oversight of what you do know of the family, so that people can build on it.
Here's a rough start:

Pellegrino CONSOLO b abt 1828/9 Ancona Italy, occ: drug broker (1871)
Virginia VITTA b abt 1834/5 Bologna Italy
-
Residence:
2 April 1871: Maple Road, Penge, Surrey (Ex.Metro), England
(Pellegrino and Virginia) Nov 1904: Milan

Children (I suppose that there could be more):
(f) Emma CONSOLO b abt 1853/4 Bologna Italy
(m) Augusto CONSOLO b abt 1855/6 Trieste, occ: Tea Broker Clerk (1871)
(f) Eugenie CONSOLO b abt 1859/60 Paris France
(m) Ernesto/Ernest Abrams Salomone CONSOLO
       b 15 Sep 1864 (reg Q#4 1864 district Croydon), d 21 Mar 1931 Florence
       (Bio: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernesto_Consolo )
(m) Eugenie Enrico Angelo CONSOLO b 1868 (reg Q#4 1868 district Croydon)
(m) Alessandro/Alexander Umbert CONSOLO b 1875 (Q#3 1875 district Croydon)
X1904 Venezia to  Eugenia SARFATTI b 1878 Venezia

I suspect that the following could be Augusto's 1889 death in India:

Re Eugenio Enrico Consolo:
Google returns hits for a pianist called Enrico Consolo around 1900. There is also a 1915 appointment to manager of an Italian bank’s London Bank branch (https://progettocultura.intesasanpaolo.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/03_londra_eng.pdf page 3  - see also: https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banca_Commerciale_Italiana)

1917 - Eugenio Consolo - Declaration of Alienage

1921 Census:

Registration District: St Marylebone
County: London, Middlesex

Elda Consolo b 1879

Wow very very helpful indeed thank you TreeSpririt. What a fascinating family, they certainly were globe trotters if maybe not very close to each other. So the Calcutta Gazette notice (how did you find that??!) not only proves this is the correct Augusto (names the attorney as the 'Constituted Attorney' of Pellegreno Consolo), it suggests that he was living in India at the time, and also that he had no obvious family living with him. Amazing find. Such apparently small amounts of text can yield so much!

Also, super helpful to see Enrico back in the UK in 1921 with his wife and son Frederico. Frederico shows up on Geni with a wife, Enrichetta "Rysia" Consolo (Toeplitz). But no children are listed.

In the 1911 census there was a Henry Consolo born in 1858 living with his wife and 4 children at 29 Bartram Road, Brockley but he wasn't on the 1871 census so not proved yet if he was another child of Pellegrino.

Henry/Enrico seems to always have the surname CONSOLE (with an E), so is most likely not a member of of the CONSOLO family.

eg 1911 and 1921 Census and naturalization (http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C4153497)

I haven’t checked this, but I’ve just found an online family tree that mentions that Henry Console was born in Trapani, Sicily, Italy and the son of Teodoro Console and Maria Anna Console (born La Dulcetta).

FYI
Frederico goes into banking like his father and even becomes involved with the world bank (Times Jun 1964).
In 1970 his mother Elda’s death gets mentioned: https://documents1.worldbank.org/curated/fr/508741484141970337/pdf/641690NEWS0Ban00Offical0Use0Only010.pdf  (p20)

Fascinating thank you! So Enrico was an economist (according to that wiki link) and directed the newly opened London bank branch in 1911.

Also very influential in the bank was Giuseppe Toeplitz, presumably related to his son Federico's wife Enrichetta/Henrietta Toeplitz.

Henrietta's father was Ludwig Toeplitz, also a banker. They were originally Polish/Russian. In 1916 it seems that Ludwig, his wife and children (when Henrietta was 7) were living in Sao Paolo.
