...the other confusing thing I have just come across is Annie Mums death ( Martha ) is on find a grave I asked for a photo and this has been fill today and the head stone reads TODD but the script underneath reads

I don't think this is the same person, the 1939 death notice for her says "...at the Massereene Hospital, Antrim, Martha (Todd), relict of the late Thomas Gardner, and late of Fairview Cottages, Ballyclare... Deeply regretted by her son. DANIEL TODD"

Which reads across to this marriage in 1898:
