I presume you have seen this?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gilbert_Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound,_4th_Earl_of_Minto

His M/C is on Ancestry if you have access 28 July 1883 to Mary Caroline Grey

FreeBMD has it indexed under 2 names for Gilbert

Elliot    Gilbert John (viscount Melgund)     St Geo H Sq    1a   876
GREY  Mary Caroline    St. Geo. H. Sq.    1a   876
MELGUND    Gilbert John E (Viscount) St. Geo. H. Sq.    1a   876

The Wiki page takes you back to the 1st Earl;
23 April 1751 – 21 June 1814
Minto was born in Edinburgh, the eldest son of Sir Gilbert Elliot, 3rd Baronet, and Agnes, daughter of Hugh Dalrymple-Murray-Kynynmound.[2] He was the nephew of John Elliott, Governor of Newfoundland, Andrew Elliot the 41st Colonial Governor of New York, and of Jean Elliot the poet
