As I recall, what you have to do is browse that particular newspaper - for example, browse NYT for 1 April 1900.  That permits you to page through the whole paper.
Wiltshire:  Banks, Taylor
Somerset:  Duddridge, Richards, Barnard, Pillinger
Gloucestershire:  Barnard, Marsh, Crossman
Bristol:  Banks, Duddridge, Barnard
Down:  Ennis, McGee
Wicklow:  Chapman, Pepper
Wigtownshire:  Logan, Conning
Wisconsin:  Ennis, Chapman, Logan, Ware
Maine:  Ware, Mitchell, Tarr, Davis

Thanks, Erato, will try that. Strangely enough I was just talking about my cousin's death last night and was able to find newspaper articles about it tonight.

Added- it worked and now have a bit more of the story that I don't remember hearing before. Many thanks.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Can't see any arrow to click to next page or way to change page number at top of page. Can anyone explain how to see rest of story?
The newspaoer browse page is good, or on a page image there is a bar at the bottom that reads like:
< > Newspaper Name and date Page X
(The middle gets compressed if you expand the image.)

Click on < or > to move to previous or next page or change X to the number of the page you want and press Enter.
Researching Penge, Anerley, (incuding the Crystal Palace) and neighbouring parts of Beckenham, currently in London (Bromley), formerly Surrey and/or Kent.
