Residents of an address

Good afternoon,  I am trying to find the residents of a  house in Tottington Bury between 1940 and 1950.  The address is 191 market street Tottington.  The man of the house was Norman Pilkington and his wife was Elizabeth Pilkington (nee Howarth).  It is the childrens names i am looking for.  Can you point me in any direction!!  Please.  Kind regards  John

I looked at the 1939 register, which we are not allowed to disclose much detail though, and they are there but no children. There is a redacted name.
Have you looked them up in birth registers?

They married in 1933 which helps.
Lancs BMD shows 5 children 1938 - 1948 and maybe more with surname Pilkington and mother’s name Howarth. You could look at them to start with.
The sub districts are Ramsbottom and Radcliffe so maybe not all the same family.

Just to add there is a Pilkington/Howarth marriage in Radcliffe, 1940 so that might alter the results.

Additionally, we are not allowed to post the names of people who may still be living so hopefully you will be able to find the births yourself.
