Look up request - Berks Record Office

Hi, if anyone is going to Berkshire Record Office in the near future and may have time to spare to do a look up for me, could you let me know?

I am specifically looking for the admission record of someone admitted to the Abingdon Union Workhouse. I have a good idea of the likely year they were admitted.

I can't help with the look-up, but have you seen this from the Workhouses website?  I've never come across such an amount of information before, and I've looked at a number of workhouses on this website!!

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

Hi, yes I have seen the details on the Workhouses page. The person I am looking for entered in 1918/9.
