Maria Dolores Teresa Louisa COLOME/S - Born Spain 1880 - Emigration to Mauritius

Seeking information about Maria Dolores Rosa Louisa COLOME/S (known as Louisa). Born in 1880 in Sant Martin, Arenys de Munt, Barcelona, Catalonia, daughter of Lucas COLOME and Teresa BILVENY. The family story was that Louisa's parents were killed somehow and was forced to emigrate with her sister to Mauritius as a teenager (1890s). I believe the Loreto Convent sisters may have had a part in this transit opportunity however this has never been confirmed. Seeking any information on Louise, particularly as to exactly when and how she made her way to Mauritius. Also any information on how the parents died would be great to find out. Any family descendants very welcome too together with any photos of the family in either Spain & Mauritius ... thank you. Much appreciated. Cheers, Rob

Lucas COLOME Y JAURES (29) married Teresa BILVENY Y BELLSOLELL (26) on 19 May 1877 at San Martin, Arenys De Munt, Barcelona.
His parents - Sebastian and Teresa
Her parents - Juan and Teresa

(all from Ancestry)

Will see if I can find her parents' deaths.

There are a few public trees for the family on Ancestry, but none have any sources other than the baptism above.

Hi Maddy, I am not a member of Ancestry but am just wondering how to access outward shipping passengers from Spain to Mauritius during the 1890s? To be honest, I am not really sure where to look! Thanks again. Ciao, Rob

Hi Rob, I had a look on ancestry and familysearch but couldn't find any shipping records. To be honest it's not an area I have done any research in before (Spain and Mauritius), so will be happy to learn if someone else points you in the right direction.
