Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Asst Steward Stanley Gordon Blane - Merchant Navy - died 23/4/1945 - - buried Acton Cemetery -

The grave of Assst Steward Blane is no longer marked.  The Commission are in the process of producing a new headstone to mark his grave.

Hi
Looking at the grave -2 other occupants are Thomas Blake and Elizabeth Elsie Blake .
Thomas 1887-1967 and Elizabeth Elsie 1894-1968.
These may be his parents.
It would tie up with a birth registered June 1920 in Lambeth for a Stanley Gordon Blake

Looks like CWGC have made an error with the surname, maybe just a typo, have informed them.
