Margaret Hume and John Carmichael

I am looking for the marriage of Margaret HUME and John CARMICHAEL. 

Margaret Hume was born in 1808 in Wooler, Northumberland.  She was the daughter of John Hume and Jane Hall.  The first three sons of John Carmichael and Margaret Hume were also born in Wooler.  James (1834), Samuel (1835) and Robert (1837).

The family then sailed out to New Brunswick, Canada.  They were part of a group of farm labourers and tradesmen who were recruited by the New Brunswick Land Company and set sail in May 1837 from Berwick on Tweed aboard the ship ‘Cornelius’.  They had more children in Canada and this part of their life is well documented on the internet by a history group interested in the settlement.
Can anyone find their marriage?

Any idea where her husband came from?  Have you checked in Scotland.

On the Canadian census he gives his nationality as English. I have checked Scotland's People but couldn't see a marriage on there either

They both give their religion as Presbyterian
