The BT has them as Anderson Wakes and Susannnah Harper
Doesn't give marital status

What was Susanna's maiden name? Did her family come from Melbourn?

I can't see any Harper burials at St Mary the Less in 1792

For some reason FreeREG has the Marriage of  Anderson Wakes and Susannnah Harper and states she is a Widow.

The 1759 Simon Harper   burial may be the Father of the Simon in question.

Trish :)

Yes Simon's death 1759 was the father of Simon 1721.

Oops.  My Cousins note is clearly wrong.  Just spent today researching but no luck.  Reckon that Simon would have been buried in Cambridge and St Mary the Less was the "Church of choice" for most of the family.
Have hit a brickwall.

Simon, son of Simon + Ann Harper
Baptized 18 Feb 1721/2 in Teversham
BT is in Latin
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-C9T9-XK6W

Perhaps this is the father
27 March 1743, in Teversham
Simon Harper was buried  :(
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-C9T9-X2BG

So the 1759 burial in Cambridge is probably either Simon, husband of Susanna, or their son Simon, baptized 1746.

The last baptism indexed on FamilySearch in Cambridge to Simon and Susanna Harper is that of daughter Mary, on 9 April 1758.

If you have ancestry, then good news. Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire parish registers will be available on ancestry at some date in the near future. That should help with the Harpers!
