You are right, there were 4 Taylors in Rasharkin in the 1834 Tithe records all in the same townland,
Alexander. Hue, Charles and William. Looks as if it is a family group.

The link that you gave is excellent.
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSZD-LQ37-X?i=503.
I have checked through another 15 years and there are no more baptisms with father Alexander Taylor.
I am also sure that you are right about Alexander Taylor not being married. It is the only entry where the mothers maiden name is used.
Maybe they left Claghey in disgrace.

Is there also a link to a transcript for the marriages at St Patricks parish church in Ballymoney ?
It would be interesting to see if Martha McCann had a later marriage.
One would assume that she must have raised the child William from 1813.

I have been going through the link to the baptisms again and i see that there are approximately 5 entries to the page where the separate names are given for the parents.
This seems to be a very large number of out of wedlock births .
Would this be usual for the early 1800's ?
