Looking for Parents of Helen Campbell born 1840s
married Donald MALCOLM 29 December 1869 Dunedin.  Marriage Certificate 1869/8301.
At $33 certificate expensive to purchase.
Can anyone please help.

We usually advise to get the Printout as it is cheaper, has more information on it, and can be emailed to you.

There are quite a few trees for this couple on Ancestry.   Some have the marriage date as 19th and others as 29th Dec 1869.

Looks like Helen's parents were James Campbell 1896 and Helen Donaldson 1802

Helen's birth year looks to be around 1835.

Helen was said to be 84 when she died so born around 1838.  Headstone has her age as 85.

If Donald and Helen's ages are correct at death then they were both a bit older when they married.  Even though the marriage cert won't tell you much, I would want to see it in case either had been previously married.
