So - was Mary a sibling ?   or a cousin ?
Mary Phare
Baptized 23 June 1822 (Sunday) - Sourton, Devon, England, United Kingdom
Deceased

Spouses
Married in 1847, Pictou, Nova Scotia, Canada, to Cornelius Dwyer 1818-
.........................
reading the posts - Mary is not mentioned as a sibling when John dies - so probably a daughter of Johns brother in Sourton - would be interesting to find out though  :)

There are two baptisms recorded on Familysearch

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:Q2M3-W2TZ
Baptism: 9 July 1820.  Maria Phare (transcribed as Phase), daughter of John and Agness Phase at Sourton, Devon.

Baptism: 23 June 1822.  Mary Phase (transcribed as Phear), daughter of John and Agnes Phear at Sourton, Devon

Also a marriage of Elizabeth Phare to Montgomery Harper in Pictou in 1872.  John and Agnes Phare are noted as parents and Cornelius Dwyer as a witness

Do you have any documentation of their voyage to Canada

To add to the 2 baptisms, John Phare's occupation in each is given as "Yeoman". Following the 1820 marriage I can only see the baptisms of Maria and Mary.
