Further information!

I think Ila may have married or at least used the surname Leggitt.

Her father Albert Edward Turvey went to visit her in 1945 and gave her details as Ila Leggitt, 1017 Burnham Ave, Calumet City, Indiana /Delaware. She is in the street directory also.

By 1950 she was with Frank S Minas in the census and as Mrs Minas in directories but seems to also use Mrs Ila Leggitt as her name for managing a sweetshop (confectionary is historically the family profession of the Myers family, her first husband's grandparents who came over to Canada in 1913 and his great grandparents).

1957 Gary Indiana - Minas https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/2469/images/11704786?pId=650835925
1957 Delaware - Leggitt

Perhaps she just kept managing her sweet shop under the Leggitt name, perhaps she didn't update the directory maker?

We know that her mother's obit in 1950 referred to her as Mrs Frank Minas.

I can't find any information regarding her split from A E C G Myers nor any marriages of Ila to a Leggitt or Frank Minas making me think she perhaps didn't divorce and later lived with Leggitt and Minas as husband and wife without the ceremony?

Maybe she chose the name Leggitt as a pun for legging it over the border from Canada to the USA! Who knows!!
