Lookups for Samuel Gascoyne

Samuel Gascoyne has been a bit tricky to research. In his census returns the Gascoyne spelling varies & his christian name has been Godfrey or Godfrey M S Gascoygne. He was born Chesterfield, Derbyshire in 1858, parents Samuel & Dorothy. He married in South Normanton in 1889 to a widow Elvina Shirley. They moved to London Greenwich abt.1891 & later Lewisham where  his wife died in 1916. He may have died in 1944 Wandsworth, London. To confirm this 1921 & 1939 census' searches would help to find what happened to him. Thanks for any help on this. Adjer

Whilst following the rules as per rosie99 post, suffice to say there is a gentleman of that name born 1 year later in Tooting Beck hospital, Wandsworth, he is a widow and Incapacitated.
