AUSTRIA... Ant(h)on Dorfler

Hi, hoping someone might know of a website where I can search for Anton (Anthon) Dorfler. Born c1868 in AUSTRIA, moved to South Africa where he died in May 1938. I've tried Ancestry.com, FamilySearch, and SA Geneology. Anything on his life in Austria (birth/baptism info, census or emigration details) would be hugely appreciated. Thanks

I guess his year of birth c.1868 means that you only know he was 70 years old when he died? Do you know his place of birth, or only country of origin (Austria)?
The best way to proceed is to provide us with everything you're sure of.

I saw the other topic (https://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=873506.0), but I'm not sure how Sirnitz as a place of birth has popped up?

I could be completely wrong, but his 1897 marriage record seems to mention Steinklamm as his place of birth i.e. abt 260 k's from Sirnitz: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSV8-83J5-Q

Could this be his 1868 baptism (Rabenstein, Rk. Diözese St. Pölten, Niederösterreich (Westen))?:

It looks like Ted23 has already found his birth (without letting us know, but it’s ok).
