There is a citizenship application for a Ethel May Connor born 1 September 1896 born Channel Islands (396652) New York, citizenship granted 1945.

She was formerly Ethel May Pearce when she married Joseph Connor New York 27 February 1925 (license was issued 25th February Pearce/Connors # 5176)
Had son Joseph 31 January 1927 New York
Had son William 22 August 1929 New York

States she arrived 2 September 1921
-----------
Possible first marriage to Cecil J Pearce 1916 registered Chelsea.

Her sisters Emily and Ada were both servants in London/Middlesex 1921 so it is likely she followed them there for work.

I believe it is her, arriving passenger list says her nearest relative is Mrs. Fisher of 3 Sutherland Place Pimlico  - arrival date 1 September 1921
She speaks both English and French

Her sister Florence Maud married ? Fisher  she died 1985.

Notes need to find out what happened to Cecil J Pearce
