There is a marriage in June quarter 1883 - Ipswich RD - possible wife Annie Elizabeth Everett.  Very high page number so probably a Register Office marriage.

Suggestion made on the assumption that Elijah died 25 January 1889 - of Ipswich - dealer in second hand clothes.  Will proved by Elizabeth Ann Everett, widow.  Ancestry - National Probate Calendar.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Burial from NBI via FindMyPast - 30 January 1889 - Cemetery - Elijah Allard aged 75.

BUT I think that is the burial and will of Elijah who married Elizabeth Ann Goss in 1873 - again a very high page number.

Sure i spotted a death for Fanny 22 Apr 1901 - a few weeks after census?
