The Family I have is below
Christopher Stonehouse was born Jan 1872 Stokesly died in 1929 in Kirby In Cleveland, Yorkshire, England. Married 1896 Middlesbrough to
Mary Alice Talkington b 3 June 1875 in Lofthouse ( Remarried James Richards 30 May 1939 in the Court House at Vancouver, Canada.)

Thomas Stonehouse 1889- 1963 Canada (Have all his information)
Mary Wilson Stonehouse July 1900 Stokesly married Frederick T. Brooks in 1922 in Middlesbrough. (I have a Death for a Mary Brooks 1976 Nothampshire. No certificates.)

Lavinia 1904 Stokesly married Howard Blakman 1925 Middlesbrough.( No certificates.)
Mary Alice, Thomas, Meggie, and Christopher Junr went to Canada.
So Mrs. Cook has to be Mary W or Lavinia.
Can anyone help find Mrs. Cook in England?
My tree may not be correct regarding the 2 girls who stayed in England. They are my 1st Cousin twice removed.
Any help is much appreciated

Carol

Mrs. Brooks is mentioned in the obit as a sister so didn't think it was her although possible.
Thank you for Lavinia's death as I didn't have that.
I do not have Anc* but do have Findmy* I do have a child for Lavinia born in 1926.
Will check 1939 as keep forgetting about that as it is not a census.

Thank you middlesbrough, Mckha489and johnhood for your help.

Well, that was a sad lookup. Found Lavinia in 1939 and found her probate. She must have been at St Lukes's for some time. So not Mrs. Cook.
Will order her Death certificate in the next few hours.
Thank you.

Sorry, I misread your post.
So Mrs Cook is her daughter, not her sister?

Dec qtr 1903. On same page

Talkington    Louisa Jane        Middlesbro'    9d   1173
Cook    John William        Middlesbro'    9d   1173

Might be stretching it a bit date wise

Talking through a hole in my head!

But, Louisa Jane would appear to be her sister. ?

Yes mckha489
Lousia Jane was her sister born in 1885 Middlesbrough, but that is all I have on her but could be Mrs. Cook in your last post.
Mary Alice had 7 Sisters and 3 brothers.
Thank you.
Off to give my eyes a rest.
