I think the name is actually Folk as written on the UK outbound record. Doesn't help us find her altho' I did find his other traveling companion, Julie McCormick, as a servant in NY in the 1905 and 1910 census. The ticket numbers are sequential so the were bought together.  Jane had been in the US before as well as Julie.  Maurice's first trip.

That list does not include fathers - Those were the people that got married in 1907 - so the choice for Maurice would be Margaret Ryan, Anne Connell or the missing name ?

Sandra

Yes, I know, have just looked on irishgeneslogy.ie to see the register image. That Maurice Hyland’s father is given as Maurice Hyland.

I’ve found Jane on the Ellis Island website, but cannot turn up the record for Maurice/Morris/Calli.

Can US censuses be searched by address?

I think the address written alongside the entry on the passenger list is 194 Lexington, Newport City, which seems to be in Brooklyn.

Good eyes reading that. Not searchable by address I believe, but the Brooklyn directories are all available online. Browseable.

The last line of that address is definitely New York City, since the final destination is listed as New York.  There is a Lexington Avenue in Brooklyn and one in Manhattan, but I think they would likely be referring to the one in Manhattan if Brooklyn wasn't specified.
