« on: Monday 05 June 23 10:01 BST (UK) »
I am trying to find where my g grandparents were buried.
Thomas Rowlands, died 1907, Swan Terrace, Clynog
Elizabeth Rowlands died 1884 Swan Terrace Clynog
I have no idea of the cemeteries in that area.
Any help appreciated

As a starter -
https://www.findagrave.com/cemetery/1996342/st.-beuno-churchyard

Tab down for nearby burial grounds to St Beuno

Note - lack of a record does not rule out your rellie being buried at that cemetery. It depends whether a headstone/marker was raised.

Caernarvonshire Family History Society have just updated the transcription for St. Beuno. I did the initial transcription for Capel Ucha (there are several graves with just a slate marker)and Brynaerau and have photos of every available headstone. UPDATE.. No sign of your relatives in the above, but as stated there are a few obvious graves with no headstone and a few with numbered slate markers. I wouldn't rule out the cemeteries in Llanllyfni as once a cemetery is full as in the case of Ebenezer, Llanllyfni other nearby cemeteries would have been used.

1939 Register shows an Elizabeth Rowlands living at 4 Swan, Pontllyfni, born Sept. 1, 1881, Grocery Dealer. Is this the same family?

Thank you for your interest. I have most of the information I need to parcel this family up. Missing where they were buried. You are correct Elizabeth did live in Swan in 1939. Her mother died in 1884 childbirth. Have not been able to find death certifiacte for the baby maybe it was stillborn. Many thanks
