I see William bapt to them 14 December 1729
Bristol Holy Cross Temple Church, Gloucestershire

Other children may be bapt Hereford, Herefordshire

I see that a child was named William Aldworth Horton 1731

So 2 Williams??? Did the 1729 one die?

I did notice that people have William parents as William Horton/Rebecca Maynard but they didn't marry until 1739

Hi
Had a look for their marriage.
Boyd has a index for a marriage licence for the couple at Bristol 1731 but doesn't say where and I can't see the original.

This deed at Bristol Archives confirms the marriage, but doesn't give time or place.

Lease and release, William Horton of Hereford and Rebecca, his wife, daughter of Richard Aldworth, William Gaskarth of London and Thomas Williams of Hereford, 1731 May 4,1731 May 5

On Google Books -

(Searching for Rebecca Aldsworth William Horton)

There is a book by June Hall McCash - 2014

and on Page 24 (Heading on page: William Horton and the Trustees' Colony)

Talks about William Horton (father) died in 1714 etc etc.

His Wife, Phillipp (still a young woman) married later Richard Butler from the parish of Hereford St Owen and the family moved into the parish of their stepfather.

etc etc.

Possibly, as the Bride very often married in her home Parish, may be Rebecca married there with her family present.
