Hey all, thank you so much!! I don’t know how you do it, I looked on Ancestry and couldn’t find a thing!

I’m off to work now but I’ll check back this evening and go through all the replies.

You guys really are amazing!!

When they went back to Ireland they Ned and Jane had a son Douglas whom is my Dads father. I’ll add all this to my tree but superb I’m chuffed to bits 🤩👍🏼👍🏼

Non Conformist. Wesleyan Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire

this Margaret may be a better match for age than the one baptised 1828 and is in Haverfordwest. Thomas a labourer in this one.

In the meantime back to Maria Smith born Rickmansworth Herts wife of William Lyons whose father is Harry a Blacksmith.

1871 census 4 Queen's Court, Uxbridge
Henry Smith 31  Blacksmith born Harefield Mdx
Fanny 30 born Rickmansworth
Elizabeth 10
Jane 6
Maria 3
James 1

Mother's maiden name for the children is Bowden
Henry Smith married Fanny Bowden 30 September 1860 at Rickmansworth Herts.
The transcription also says mother Elizabeth Bowden

The eldest daughter Elizabeth was born prior to the marriage as Elizabeth Bowden Illegitimate, as her parents married shortly afterwards I expect Henry/Harry Smith was her father
