I am looking for a marriage of Alfred Phillips to Eliza Angel / Angelhart probably in the Bow or Mile End area of London but am drawing a blank.

As Carole has already said, some context would be helpful. However, I believe I have found the right couple.

The first census they appear on together is the 1861 census, living in Mile End Old Town (Piece: 294/Folio: 101/Page number:16). Alfred is born c.1831 in Bethnal Green and Eliza is born c.1831 in Stepney. Alfred is a carman.

The eldest child with them is Alfred, born c.1852. There is also George (c.1858) and Minnie (c.1860).

In 1871, Eliza is now born c.1825. There is a daughter between Alfred and George called Eliza (born c.1855). Also Walter (born c.1863) and Phoebe (born c.1867).

There is a possible for Alfred in 1851, lodging in Mile End Old Town with the right age and birthplace. Another lodging there is a Henry Angel, born c.1831 in Stepney. Looking at Henry on the 1841 census, I can see that he did indeed have a sister called Eliza born c.1826. Perhaps this is how Alfred and Eliza met?

Their father was John Angel, coachmaker, and their mother was Elizabeth. Eliza was still living with John - now a widower - in 1851.

Of course, OP may already know all this.
