1861 census there is a Joyce family following youngest child Joseph. Maybe related?

Have been looking into the William and Sophia Joyce living next door to the Smith family as you pointed out, but haven't found a connection so far...

I assume they must be related, otherwise it would be too much of a coincidence?

I think William maybe a possible brother to Elizabeth. It looks a possible that William & Sophia married in 1834 so no father named to compare.

I thought the same Cas, I've found this although I'm not sure if it's correct:

There are 2 baptisms that are called ''Elizabeth Joyce'' and ''William Joyce'', baptised in the right years for the births we knew, that have the same parents: John and Sarah. There is a marriage between a John Joyce and Sarah Biddle in 1810, which I assume to be the John and Sarah on the 2 baptisms.

Then I tried to find Elizabeth Joyce and William Joyce on the 1841 census with their parents, and came across a census with an Elizabeth Joyce with parents John and Maria. There is a marriage for a John Joyce and a Mary Maria English in 1823, and John Joyce is a widower. I'm thinking Elizabeth and William were the children of John and SARAH and then John re-married to MARY?

Although William is not on the census with John, Mary and Elizabeth- so that may disprove this theory.

This may be completely wrong! 

(Elizabeth and Robert's marriage says that John Joyce is her father)
