The "other woman" has a sister living at 127 Speke Road, Battersea, Mrs Hill, who might know where they are living.

The Rootschat sleuths will be on the trail!

Marriage record of James (Jeremiah) Hill and Sarah Eliza Shipcott is on Ancestry. Her father was William Shipcott occ painter. Hopefully that will lead to the name of the "other woman"

See also book D/1 Page 45a
Can anybody find that?

I think I found it in the LMA catalogue
Examination of paupers, desertion cases (indexed) 1901 - 1902
WABG/102/001
Not available for general access, available online via ancestry

Book 2 for 1902-03 is on ancestry, incredibly it has another Eames case in it!
They have stuck on a removals exam book after that. Possibly book D/1 is similarly hidden away.

I can find five sisters : Lucy Jane, Sophia Ellen, Elizabeth, Mary Ann and Alice. Lucy Jane died in infancy. Sophia married edward Fitzgerald and is with him in 1901 and 1911, so she seems unlikely.
Not tracked the other three yet.

Hi
Welcome to Rootschat!
Glad we've been of some help.
Hopefully Lizzie will get the lady friend for you! But will it lead to the missing Aaron?

Elizabeth married Henry Buckenfield 1883 but is without him in 1891 living in Wandsworth with daughter Emily. Not found her in 1901, could be under a different name perhaps?
