I will do it with a cutting from my Captain Sir Tom rose that I massacred ,but which has come back really strong .
There is no mention of time of year but worth a try now, so cuttings will not be so tender come Winter.
Phoned my little friend this afternoon, she said she and her daughter had sorted a few things out on the phone , ,and she will call tomorrow to tell me .
She needs a new fridge I am sure - it was so hot outside but not really cool inside .
She said her ice cream was like lumps”will it harm me.”
I explained they were the places where she had taken out scoops and so it was uneven , and if it was usually smooth when she took a part used pack from the freezer it must have thawed then frozen again which was not good !
I can’t understand her total lack of understanding and feel it is her fast diminishing sight and hearing that is confusing her.
I think she must have forgotten that she did have knowledge of these things
as her son completely took over managing all her affairs ,, doing too much really ,never thinking that he would die first .
Only in hospital 36 hours before dying of Bowel cancer ,so he must have ignored some severe symptoms ,most probably out of concern for his
mother .A real tragedy.
Well I am shattered ,so off to bed .
