From a transcript, John Peoples was baptised in St. Mac Nissi's, Larne, on 14 August 1862 by Rev. F. McKenna, the parents were recorded as Joseph Peoples and Elizabeth McCafferty, the sponsors were William McCafferty and Ellen Brannigan.

Thank you Gaffy

First of all, that was the baptism that folklore recorded and in a Catholic Church, matching the religion of the mum (my great grandmother Eliza Mccafferty folklore orange and green) although they were married in 1st Presbyterian Meeting Hall.

Yes, the marriage of the James Peoples was Joseph's brother and the Mary Peoples, should be his first cousin's daughter.

Now the witness called James McKee maybe what I had mentioned in my first request for help; the illegit of Rachel Peoples who was born c1846.

The marriage you have found, there should be a son James Peoples.

For those who have taken a special interest, there is another issue. They are the only Peoples in Killyglen area yet, in the 1851 Census the widowed Margaret Peoples 76 said that she had a son James Peoples 34 at home. She was the former Margaret Legge  living on 3 acres of freehold that her husband James Peoples had purchased. Yet, her son James Peoples 48 and his second wife Mary lived on the tenements (also 1851 Census) (a number) in Killyglen. Hiss father had 115 acres in 1834 Tithes. She has either had another son with another first name and second name James, who she called James or son should be son-in-law. But the name about Ellen 34 did not marry but that was her daughter below 13 granddaughter to Margaret Anyway, I will keep working on that.

There are four records of Peoples monuments there plus Matilda Nickle, nee Peoples

I have tried to work them out, albeit, "will the right James Peoples please stand up". In other words, rather confusing.

Clarification of some family members recorded on grave head-stones

The adjacent typed text extract of monumental inscriptions was forwarded as being entries of some graves in the Kilwaughter Old Castle grounds. They offer a number of graves with Peoples’ family members interned.
Record 1:
George Peoples (c1814 to 1821-1891) was a son of James Peoples and Margaret Legge. He buried his son George Junior on 27 Aug 1851, aged 3. In 1854, along with his wife and three additional children, they emigrated to Lee County, Illinois.

Record 2:
The second grave monument was erected by Mary Peoples of Killyglen, in memory of her beloved husband James Peoples, who died 21 Jul 1863, aged 62. This age confirms that he was James Peoples and Margaret Legge’s eldest son. He did marry (2) an unknown Mary. Their daughter Margaret was the same, who died on 8 Feb 1924, as also indicated by her brother in the second grave.

Record 3:
With the inscription of his sister Margaret, who died on 8 Feb 1924, matching the inscription on the grave above, the compiler suggests that this headstone was commissioned by James Peoples, the son of James Peoples and his second wife Mary. Calling himself Sen. indicates that he will also have a son called James Peoples. James did have a brother William J. Peoples (c1850-1927). This grave also records that this James Peoples died 12 May 1929, aged 87 (matches birth year of c1842) and in Holden, Larne.

Record 4:
This monument inscription may be an additional headstone erected by James Peoples, to commemorative his grandparents Joseph and Margaret Peoples; however, his “uncles” may be mis-leading, unless we take into consideration the above 1851 Census, whereby his grandmother included another James Peoples as her son. This James Peoples’ father was James Peoples. We can confirm that his uncles were David, Archibald and Joseph and his aunty was Ellen, as was her daughter Ellen. He did have a cousin named James Peoples, who was also named in the above 1851 Census taken at his grandmother’s home, in Killyglen.

Record 5:
Nickle – This grave commemorates the family of Matilda Nickle who married Hugh Nickle Senior, in 1871. She was the sister of Joseph Peoples who emigrated to Victoria.
Thus, the graves all have a connection to the Peoples’ family of Killyglen.

Calling himself Sen. indicates that he will also have a son called James Peoples. Not always the case in Ulster. It just as often means that there was more than one person of the same name (not always related) in the same townland/area. Since it is based on comparing ages of individuals the designation can change.
For example-
James (1) has a son James (2)- so James (1) is sr. and James (2) is jr.
Then, James (1) has a son James (3). James (1) dies, so James (2) becomes sr. and his nephew James (3) is now jr.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Another look up or help please!
I have a possible solution now as to why there were two sons called James Peoples to tenement farmer and holder of 115 acres 1834 Tithe, that of James Peoples of Killyglen.

The 1851 Killyglen Census has Margaret Peoples widow 76 then says 1809 and I missed that fact. This Margaret Peoples was not his first wife Margaret Legge (married 12 Dec 1802 Larne Old Presby). This now account for her having a son James 34; and nearby was another James Peoples (48) who took over his father's tenement farms.
It also accounts for two James Peoples, one who died in 1863 and the other who died in 1879, both having the same brothers, sisters and niece Ellen.
My request for assistance:
Can some help to find a marriage for James Peoples to a Margaret Unknown in 1809 and most likely Larne or Killyglen Presbyterian Church?
