CHARLES BENJAMIN WOODWARD (Attorney/Solicitor)

Hi Everyone
    I am hoping to find any information on the above please.  He does not seem to be on the 1841 Census in Manchester!  (Maybe deceased??)

His name is BENJAMIN WOODWARD on his widowed wifes death certificate ROSETTA WOODWARD who died in Manchester in 1844.  His occupation is Attorney.

On the marriage of his son JOHN WOODWARD who married Mary Turner in 1841 fathers name is BENJAMIN CHARLES WOODWARD Solicitor, it does not state deceased though.

The below is all I have found in relation to him paying rates!! See attachment.  Would like to know details of his address if possible.

Hi Radcliff yes they are the parents.  Thanks.  John was born in 1801 before they were married. There was another two born 1797 JANE and ROSETTA b 1799 I think.  The last child Mary Ann was b 1805.  Regards Dianna

yes a Jane baptised at Manchester cathedral, 19th Feb 1797,

There is a burial of a Charles Woodward at Collegiate 20th November 1803 , it doesn't give an age or occupation, have you checked Lancashire archives for a will,

Hi Well I thought as the last child Mary Ann was born 1805 he may still be alive.  I haven't checked for a will as yet thanks for the idea.

Will need to find more on the Rate books as he is listed 1806.  Thanks Dianna
