David J. Marple 1882-1959
« on: Friday 16 June 23 00:47 BST (UK) »
David is my Great Uncle, lived and died on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada, That is all I know about him but he deserves to be included in the Family Tree just as much as I do. Every Life has a story, I just don't know his.
I know this is another difficult photo but the way everyone keeps responding gives me hope that some one will exceed my expectations again.

Here's my best attempt, I have retained the original image and features, just done quite a bit of enhancements to get the image and his face clearer. Each layer of editing I have done I have layered back onto your original image, so that this is still the same person as in your photograph :). I hope you like it.

Difficult Job to do with newspaper clippings.

Not a modern restoration perse like the others, but I always try maintain the original photograph when I restore, just enhance.

I think I read "Margaree N.I" on these records which is on Cape Breton Isand Island.

Possibility?

Re. the affidavit, this is the second Nova Scotia case I've checked in the last 2 days where the sworn statement had been filmed obscuring the information beneath. I cannot find a way to view the document beneath.
