There was a baby Eliza baptised to a James & Sarah later in Nov 1816 so if the earlier marriage was her parents they left it pretty late.  The baby died so couldn't follow that up.

I missed that one :(
Probably swings it back to Sarah Wood!

Both Eliza (28 Nov 1816) and Charlotte's baptism (09 Apr 1818)  have abode as Cumberworth Half and James occupation as Husbandman.

The Sarah Wood marriage has a witness Uriah Hinchliffe

Thanks Rosie.  Yes I've looked at Uriah before but he wasn't any help  :-\  He needn't have been a relative as I understand the surname is a lot more common there than it is here!

That link can only be seen by people with an ancestry subscription. I have one to uk but the link goes to Ancestry US so can’t be seen.

The familysearch and Ancestry links differ on both Parish and date of baptism.  Having seen the image  on Ancestry I  have my doubts about either date being right  ::)

Milliepede, do you know who Sarahs parents were in case children of James and Sarah were named after them.
