The article states he has been in India for the last 2 years - he was a Lance Corporal with the Lancashire Fusiliers.  He played as wicket keeper for Rochdale at the age of 15

Not your Harry Robinson - he was the son of Clifford and Harriet Robinson accorrding to CWGC website - died 5th May 1944 age 26
