Trying to find parents of William New

Just one question, does William name his father on his 2nd marriage to Grace.

I haven't found any information on the marriage to Grace Turtle, but for his first marriage on 1/1/1862 to Anna, his Father was shown as John New, Gentleman.

There is a story book written about William New's life "Don't Mock the Turtle" and regarding William's new marriage to Grace Ada Turtle, it says "William New aged 54,Widower of Anna, married Grace Ada Turtle, just turned 21 at Bexley Heath's Congregational Chapel on October 30th 1890. The certificate states that William's Father had been a Steward but was now dead."

Hope my answers to this, assist you.   Think we need to go back to Joseph New and Elizabeth Hyde which is my Common Ancestors line, the Grandparents of this John Hyde New.   I come down the line of Daniel New the youngest son of Joseph & Elizabeth New, John Hyde New appears to come down the line of Daniel's brother John.   Will get back to all those details now.

Maybe someone could assist me further please.   My Common Ancstors - Joseph New b.1748 Ashbury d.1839 Ashbury, married to Elizabeth Hide (Hyde) b. 1751 Shrivenham d. 1835 Ashbury. Have not found their marriage.  This information researched back in the 1980's originally.

Joseph and Elizabeth New had the following children:

Mary New 1773-1841
Susannah New 1775-1849
Phillip New 1776 - 1822
Joseph New 1779
William New 1781
Elizabeth 1783
Richard 1785
John 1787  (married to Sarah Wooton) (Father to John Hyde New)
Henry 1789-1867
Daniel New 1792 d. 1871 Newbury.  (Daniel is my 3 x G Grandfather)

We need to find the link from William New b. 1836 Kingstone Lyle son of John Hyde New (Butler in London)  to Joseph & Elizabeth New.
