Buffalo Times newspaper help
« on: Saturday 17 June 23 20:27 BST (UK) »
Hi all

My great great aunt Josephine Theresa Whelan was born in Ireland and came over to the US to live late 19th century.

I have seen that there is a newspaper article in the Buffalo Times in 1903 but although I have access to Ancestry I cannot see the newspaper article.

Is it possible that anyone can access the article and see what it is about?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

https://fultonhistory.com/Fulton.html

Pop your rellie's full name in search and select "the exact phrase"

returns 2 x  1903 hits.

Note - the search details may appear already completed - if so, just hit "search". May be a bit slow loading.

Searching under "Josephine Whelan" produces 85 hits (Josephine T Whelan produces zero hits). Of the 85 hits, 1 relates to the academic success (Buffalo Courier 1903). I haven't checked the remaining 84 - over to you!

The same announcement about those graduating from various schools appeared in several of the Buffalo papers for late June 1903.
