John Marsh c1824 : looking for birth and mother

I have John Marsh married to Betsey (Elizabeth cutsworth Knapton) in 1848 in Wrawby Lincs.

On the censuses he gives different places of birth. I know his father is John Marsh from the marriage record. Not seen original so don't know what the father's occupation was.

He's with wife Betsy on this censuses.

Not seen original so don't know what the father's occupation was.

His occupation is given as shoemaker. The two marriage witnesses are both Knaptons. Both John and Betsy made their mark.

Based on the occupation, there is this possible baptism in the parish of St. Margaret's, Westminster:

Born 24th November 1823, baptised 22nd August 1824: John, son of John & Elizabeth Marsh, abode: Palmer's Village, father's occupation: shoemaker.

His sister Charlotte Caroline was baptised the same day.
