So if the 1851 below is Ann’s sister & brother with two of Ann’s children.

1851 Stane
CLELAND   Agnes   Head   U   43   Sewster   Cambusnethan
CLELAND   Robert   Brothr   U   44   Shoemaker   Cambusnethan
HILL   Margaret   Dau   -   12      Cambusnethan
COLLIGHAN   Margaret   Niece   U   23      Cambusnethan
COLLIGHAN   John   Nephew   -   13   Drawer In Coal Mine   Shotts
CAIRITIE   James   Grnnpw   -   3m      New Monkland

Then this look remarkably like Ann using her maiden name (Not uncommon in Scotland) & her sister & brother in 1861. (You can see original on SP or maybe elsewhere)

1861 CAMBUSNETHAN
CLELLAND   AGNES   1861   F   53   628/ 19/ 15   CAMBUSNETHAN   LANARK
CLELLAND   ROBERT   1861   M   55   628/ 19/ 15   CAMBUSNETHAN   LANARK
CLELLAND   ANN           1861   F   63   628/ 19/ 15   CAMBUSNETHAN   LANARK

So where was Ann in 1851?

Colin
Clarke, Trickett, Orton, Lawless, Norton, Detheridge, Kirby, Goodfellow, Wagstaff, Lowe, etc.

Just to clarify the Cleland family, which seem to fit with Ann being the wife of Thomas Colligan.

CLELAND   JOHN   THOMAS CLELAND/MARGARET YOUNG    03/01/1801   BOTHWELL
CLELLAND   ANN            THOMAS CLELLAND/MARY YOUNG            19/11/1798   BOTHWELL

THOMAS CLELAND/MARGARET YOUNG THEN HAD CHILDREN CAMBUSNETHAN

THOMAS 6/03/1803 & 11/01/1806, AGNES 15/04/1808, JEAN 21/05/1810

On the 1851 census Robert is noted as brother of Agnes but no baptism record, however…

ROBERT CLELAND   DIED   AGE 68   YOUNG   1873   CALDERHEAD

AGNES CLELAND   DIED   AGE 69   YOUNG   1876   CALDERHEAD

As posted previously.
ANN CLELLAND   DIED   AGE 63   YOUNG   1863   WHITBURN
ANN COLLIGAN   DIED   AGE 63   YOUNG   1863   WHITBURN

Colin
Clarke, Trickett, Orton, Lawless, Norton, Detheridge, Kirby, Goodfellow, Wagstaff, Lowe, etc.

1861 CAMBUSNETHAN
CLELLAND   AGNES   1861   F   53   628/ 19/ 15   CAMBUSNETHAN   LANARK
CLELLAND   ROBERT   1861   M   55   628/ 19/ 15   CAMBUSNETHAN   LANARK
CLELLAND   ANN           1861   F   63   628/ 19/ 15   CAMBUSNETHAN   LANARK

From Colin's earlier entry, Ann Clelland is showing as married in this census entry. Agnes and Robert show as single.

It may be that Edward abandoned the family?  The same thing happened to daughter Margaret who shows in her poor relief applications in the 1890s as having been abandoned by her husband more that 20 years before.
