The 1841 census shows 12 people of that surname living in Jura - birthyear range 1785-1838

6 were male & 6 were female

Perhaps you could give more info as to exactly which Kennedy family you are researching which would enable us to help further

Only sketchy details re my search. Person I am interested in is called Mary Kennedy and she got married to a William Smout in 1851. I do not have any details about her.
