So are we assuming its 288 Coningsby Moor then and not Coningsby Lodge? I couldn't figure out which part was being "dittoed".
NO - 288 is the "No of Schedule" in Column 1 of Census. Nothing to do with the address.

Also spotted Ivy Lane and Reedham Lane on the '51 Census close to Coningsby Moor.

So all we have is Coningsby Moor then, rather than an actual address?

Next to the Bellamy's there are 2 dittos so could it be possible that as the address above says Coningsby Moor and then Coningsby Lodge underneath that they lived their too...or am I just completely misreading it?

Ive looked at the map and am trying to locate Coningsby Moor in relation to what I know of the area, we used to live in New York. Any ideas where Coningsby Moor is today on a modern map?

I think Coningsby Moor may be the airfield area.

There is a long account of an incident near Coningsby in The Boston Guardian December 8th, 1921 which may help to locate Cross Keys House. It is too long to post in full so I have extracted pertinent details:

the victims address Reedham Corner, a day girl working in Coningsby
going home in the evening by bicycle
called at Temperance Hall, Coningsby to look for her father, not there
rode to the White Swan, still no sign of her father
headed off in the New York direction
was accosted at a bend in the road
the assailant:
"When you get to the corner (Cross Keys corner) turn to the right." [unclear what is going on here]
She did so and when she got to the crossroads ran into Mrs Sutton's house.

Later, a witness, William Sutton, cottager, Cross Keys House.

I did wonder that. I located Sandy Bank on the old map and we used to live at 2 Sandy Bank so I remember driving up along that road by the base, so its location certainly does seem like it may now be RAF Coningsby. My husband did two postings at Coningsby so thats quite a nice link if that is the case.

Look top left hand corner of map. You should see Coningsby Field and to the right Coningsby Moor. In Coningsby Field you will see a "Lodge House" - this is a possible candidate for Coningsby Lodge.
The nearest reference point to Coningsby Lodge on the Census is the entry that immediately precedes it - looks like "Cross Keys House"? But as AB has posted, no trace of it yet.

I can see Cross Keys Beer House on the '61 Census - Boston Road. On the previous Census sheet is Ivy House - which can be found on the map previously posted.
