Well another nice day,not so hot -more pleasant.
Garden pretty tidy now .
Just having a cuppa, I feel very smug!
I like EarkGrey and Lady Grey tea, son strong  Assam.
The teaspoons get in such a mess ,tannin, well all done with  Cif  today ,the backs where it says ‘ Stirling Siver ‘ or in my case, Stainless Steel —- well stainless my foot!
All now clean and shiny.
There is a teaspoon fairy in my house ,where do they go?

Went to our lovely local hardware shop yesterday, and asked for a “ Throw away potato peeler” tye owner looked blank then it dawned “ You have done it again haven’t you!”yes, chucked yet another out with peelings !

Shopping local is still possible for some things ,a great many have gone ,sadly.
A laugh and a joke go a long way and now that Morrisson’s have only two manned tills —- Tesco sometimes two usually none (,Aldi no self serve tills at all, ) many folk especially oldies like me,miss the banter with the local people who worked at the supermarkets .

I have four rose stems stuck in potatoes ,interesting to see what will happen
Louisa Maud mentioned doing that to get some new bushes .

Hope all are well, I am now but very stupidity stood up quickly when getting up and wham!Vertigo —- so just lay back down again and kept peeping with one eye,if the merry go round was still going I stayed lying down.
All O.K. And a good amount done in the garden too so a satisfactory day .
Eldest son and daughter in law in Cypress ,sent e-mail that it was a good
journey and pictures of their holiday home are stunning ,and the prices so reasonable . They deserve a good holiday .
So does my son here but he will always go to his sister’s as he loves  Flash  Harry  and  Kyra so a visit may be in the offing .Yippee!l
I also must get to Shropshire ,- before I die -

Quick tea ,as I have been hard at it all day so ham and cheese omelettes with frozen chips and salad.
Ham joint for Sunday and I think salmon for Saturday tea.
Son is easy to please .

Well ,must make shape as my mother would say,and get on.
Hope everyone has a nice weekend ,good weather and some nice companionship .
Cheerio .Look after yourselves.
Viktoria.

I was out at 07.40 to the hairdresser , Forgot she was only doing  a trim and not a blow dry, goodness knows what the result will  be tomorrow but at least I know what it will  look like if I can't manage to roll my hair as I get older, I envy, no I mustn't be envious but you ladies with curls think how lucky you are

It has  been hot today, did manage some gardening but full sun on  me  so didn't do as much.

After blood tests recently the Drs receptionist rang, could I make an appt today,  there I was ready hat and coat in hand and she then says July 4th,  also need results from a scan, my Dr is on holiday , 2 weeks from today, can't  see another Dr as it was he who referred  me, so, thank goodness it isn't serious as I can't make the appt for 2 weeks, not in advance, getting a bit ridiculous.

I am off to Hythe tomorrow  for the day, don't want it to hot, a happy medium will suit me

Viktoria, pleased you are having a go at Rose's, I expect  you will let us know how you get on to encourage us all.

Peace and quiet again! :D
Drove my daughters to the airport earlier - boarding now.
Can sleep in my own bed once again!
Have been sleeping on a single divan bed - back to my own King-size tonight.

Well, what a complex set of circumstances haliared.
I feel somehow you have slipped through the net!

Not knowing your age, don’t be insulted when I mention Age Concern, they can be very helpful .
They could help to organise help for you ,you surely are entitled to some .as you mention mobility problems .

Would you consider online shopping ,such as Tesco, order ,pay and it is brought to your door .
Are you able to get to your door?
Would you consider sheltered living ? Support, help, companionship etc but how careful must you be given your vulnerability . ?
Your G.P has some duty of care and ought to help you with some of this.
If your condition has a specific name there could well be a Society dedicated to helping those with the condition

I hope you get some help soon, meanwhile keep on posting , it is a really friendly supportive site  and has got many of us who are alone with health problems ,through the pandemic .
Cheerio for now.
Viktoria.

Thanks Viktoria and all, just had a really sucky day at the end of a mega bad week and felt even more vulnerable. There are just some very pushy people who make us feel awful about ourselves, and when we are struggling it feels worse. I am ok now, thanks for all your help and advice.

Dare I say  we all have bad days, remember Capt Tom who said "tomorrow is another day" and he was right.

Viktoria came up with some good suggestions

Can you pick the cheapest delivery time,  sometimes they have some really good  deals on deliveries, might be 9pm ish  but you might save something and every little helps.

Perhaps you will feel a bit better after a good night sleep

I pay Tesco £40 for six months unlimited deliveries with priority slots .
The problem is if you don’t spend £45 each shop there is a penalty of £4-50.
I find myself getting stuff I don’t  need or have room for.

My son came back up North this time last year — wow!such care and attention .
Can I get an appointment —— a heart patient , 86, brittle bones ,nope!
What happened to the three monthly heart checks?  ???
By contrast my eyes have had wonderful treatment ,and I am very grateful .
Things are very stretched we know ,even the fourth Civid boosters are so very different in different places, not had my fourth yet despite being told that as in a priority age group it would be in two weeks ,about four months ago.But I am very grateful really.
Hope things work out for you ,you really ought to be getting much more support from Social Services, your Doctor is the key there I feel .
Keep posting , and thanks for your reply .
